88 year old driver and his 85 year old wife
were going through a green light in Waukesha
County when they struck by an individual who
ran the red light at a high rate of speed,
killing the driver instantly and seriously
injuring his wife. The driver who caused the
accident indicated to a witness that he was
reading the bible as he went through the red
light. This case was settled prior to a
lawsuit for a total of $800,000.

Accident involving collision of Jet Ski
Drivers Awarded $300,000
On a lake in Jefferson County, a jet ski
collided with another jet ski, almost
instantly killing the driver of the jet skis.
The case settled against the insurance company
for the policy limits of $300,000. The case is
still continuing against Yamaha Corporation (manufacturer
of the jetski) on the theory of defective
product in that when the person who caused the
accident tried to steer away from the other
jet ski and took his hand off the throttle, he
was unable to turn because he had lost all
power and went directly into the other jet
ski.

Vehicle Accident settles for $700,000
A women was driving with an 11 year old passenger
who she babysat. While traveling straight on a
road, two nuns pulled out from a stop sign and
struck the car. The child sustained injuries
to his leg, along with facial scarring. The
woman also sustained significant injuries.

A truck driver was making a delivery at a
truck yard. After getting out his truck, he
walked under a mechanical arm that came down
and struck him on the head, sustaining head
injuries. A federal lawsuit was filed against
a railroad company who owned the truck yard.
